VIC is pleased to introduce an expanded line of custom made protective enclosures for cameras, lenses and related sensors.  The pictured enclosures illustrated three housings designed for digital cameras, telephoto and zoom lenses.  Dimensions vary based on size and payload.

Typical condition are; rain, dust, sea-state, high and low temperatures, shock/vibration etc.  Enclosures can also be configured to accept a Gn2 nitrogen purge for use in potential explosive environments. 

A large O-ring is fitted in the perimeter channel located on the base of the removable hood.  Over-center stainless steel latches lock the hood onto the base plate.  This action compresses the O-ring to assure a positive seal.

All cable penetrations are through the base plate allowing the hood to be easily set aside.  Users have un-obstructed access to install the camera and lens without interference, as illustrated on the reverse side.

An optically flat glass window is located on the hood and is automatically aligned with the optical center of the selected camera lens.  A quick release mount allow the camera to move fore and aft to re-drilled location to assure precise lens alignment without image vignetting.

Some environments require enclosures to with stand explosive or fragmentations situations.  The design of these enclosures allows stronger and reinforced material to be used for these circumstances.  Or, to provide adequate protection to the extent that expensive cameras, lenses etc. will survive.
